Who we are & what we do
Wisdom Sutras is a research and knowledge initiative dedicated to exploring, developing and sharing the timeless wisdom of Indian spiritual and philosophical traditions in a form that is relevant to contemporary life, leadership and society.
Our present focus is on research in Indian spirituality, spiritual leadership and Dharmic Values-Based Leadership. Through research, open access publications, books, lectures, workshops, educational resources and direct person-to-person engagement, we seek to connect enduring principles such as Dharma, Nishkama Karma and Lokasangraha with modern questions of ethical leadership, responsibility, human development and collective welfare.
Wisdom Sutras may also adopt other appropriate educational, scholarly and community-based means for the wider propagation of spirituality, spiritual leadership and Indian culture.

The same law that holds a spiral galaxy in coherent motion — every arm, every star in relation to the whole — is the law we ask leadership, and life, to mirror: individual awareness in service of a larger, self-sustaining order.
Technical competence doesn't answer the moral questions
Modern life offers extraordinary material, technological and professional opportunities, yet individuals and institutions continue to face challenges involving ethical decision-making, stress, conflict, misuse of authority, declining trust, social inequality and a loss of deeper purpose. Technical knowledge and professional competence are essential, but they do not always answer the moral and human questions that arise in leadership and everyday life.
Spiritual knowledge and spiritual leadership provide a values-based framework for examining questions such as: What is the right course of action? How should authority be exercised? How can personal ambition be balanced with responsibility? How can success be aligned with the welfare of others?
